Suriname e-visa

Documentation
The documentation required for e-tourist card seems to be straight-forward – passport, photo, itinerary, flights & hotel confirmation; but for an e-visa, you’re required to provide a “Letter of Invitation” and “Copy of the ID-card of the guarantor.”

Another requirement under documents is to have a round-trip air ticket. While most travelers enter or exit Suriname via land borders with Guyana and French Guiana, it is unclear if this will be a hurdle for application.

Fees
While e-tourist card has a flat $40 fee, the fees for e-visa varies depending on factors like single or multiple entries, your nationality and type of visa. An additional processing fee of $14 is applied to all applications.

Both e-visa and e-tourist card (single entry only, tourism only) are valid for 90 days only and the processing time may take up to 72 hours.
