TripDeck – iOS app review

TripDeck

TripDeck

Cost: Free

Bang for buck: It’s free!
Ease of use:
The looks:

TripDeck adds a great UI with the concept of trips or itineraries. For each itinerary or trip, you can add:

  • Flight information – enter the flight number or flight route and it will give you all the details, also add confirmation number or tap to call airline, add push notifications, or view route maps.
  • Train information – Train name, departure and arrival information, booking and rail carrier information and much more. Also view the route.
  • Driving information
  • Rental Car information
  • Cruise ship information
  • Hotel information
  • Restaurants, meetings
  • Notepad – a plain simple notepad for your on-the-go notes with dates, addresses and URLs.

It’s very helpful to look at all different travel and accommodation arrangements at a glance. Unlike many other travel apps, TripDeck doesn’t make you enter any of your travel information on your own. Instead, simply allow TripIt to interface with the application and it will pull down all of your travel arrangements.

  • I am currently using Tripit, which I love. I would like to see how you think it compares to Tripdeck.
