TripCase – iOS app review

Bang for buck: It’s free!

This app acts like an itinerary for your trip(s), which can be published to Facebook, Twitter and/or LinkedIn. Or if you prefer to be a little more discreet, TripCase can notify the people you choose via email of your flight’s arrival time and gate changes, which is handy if you are expecting someone to pick you up at the airport. You can conveniently store your flights, hotel name and car reservation all in one place. As your departure time nears, TripCase will display your airport gate and you’ll receive push and email notifications in case of a delay.

One of the features of the app is to allow you to enter address of a hotel or business and based on the address you enter, the app will make suggestions. There’s a way to enter the accommodation information (particularly address) manually. We’d expect it to allow any address entered manually, but the app doesn’t allow that. It still recommends and replaces user-entered address with its own! If it’s a manual entry, it should just let that be.
