Share-a-bill – iOS app review
Bang for buck:
Ease of use:
Sharing expenses and working out who-paid-what is a chore that can be painful if there a lot of people traveling and everyone is chipping-in to something. We have previously reviewed TripSplitter ($1.99) and SplitWise (free) apps that, essentially, do that same as Share-a-bill.
Unlike Splitwise, which doesn’t allow you to enter multiple trips or events and works between the people you add, Share-a-bill can add multiple trips and you can add friends or family using your contact book. One of the best part about the app is to allow you to copy over an existing event/trip when you’re creating a new one. For example, if you have a set of friends or roommates who share expenses every month, you can create a new event and copy a previous one to it. This way you don’t have to enter the names of the persons again.
At the end of your event or trip you can email the entire contents in a simple and beautifully laid-out email. Try out the free lite version before purchasing the full one.
