Most of the language translators, including Google Translate, require internet connectivity to show translated results. Although Jibbigo Translator works almost exactly the same, you can download their offline packs (starting at $4.99 between two languages, ‘world bundle’ costs $25).

With over 20 languages, the app has a very good interface, but you may experience some errors during your translation’s voice. Also, unlike Google Translate, Jibbigo does not maintain a history of your translated terms. Having used Google Translate extensively, we can say that when you’re on the road, the translated history (while you’re online in your hotel) sure comes as a rescue. The app supports voice- & text-based translations.

Try it out and let us know your feedback. They also have individual language package apps available on iTunes.
