This was our last day in Colombia and for an early morning flight, we got out of the El Viajero hostel in Cartagena at 5:00am. It takes about 15 minutes from the old town Cartagena to the airport and costs COP 6,000 per taxi ride.

Our flight was with Avianca at 6:30am from Cartagena to Bogotá, taking about 1.5 hours and landing in Bogotá at 7:55am.
And our connecting flight out of Bogotá was at 3:00pm. So we had seven hours to kill at the Bogotá airport!
We had breakfast at Bogotá airport, took a nap, strolled around for a while and took the flight out.
