TripList – iOS travel app review

TripList iOS travel app reviewLink: iTunes
Cost: Free

Bang for buck: It’s free!
Ease of use:
The looks:

Packing light is something we always recommend and there are tons of packing-list apps in the iOS world. Adding to that list is the free, ad supported, not-all-features-available version of TripList, but if you fancy everything in an app then there’s the TripList PRO for $2.99.

Having a sleek, iOS7-looking app, TripList will allow you to create and manage your own, custom travel packing lists. You can also select one from their template in-built.

Just select the type of trip, enter a name, perhaps a start date and voila! You can start adding items from categorized lists of over 250 individual items, or WYO, and keep checking them off when you have packed them in your backpack.

So what makes this one different than other packing apps are the reminders it will send to you for hotels or flight bookings (no, you cannot add flight details to this app).

Here are some of the other features of TripList:

  • Export your list in CSV format (Pro only)
  • iCloud sync (Pro only)
  • AirPrint (Pro only)
  • Add multiple users (Pro only)
  • Templates for frequently used lists (Pro only)
  • Packing list duplication (Pro only)
  • Different color schemes (Pro only)
  • TripIt integration (Pro only)

We are not sure why can they not have a basic thing like adding multiple users to the free app? Just sayin’!
