What is the best time to travel to a destination? This is the question many of us ask our travel agents or friends. We all want bright, sunny days with almost to no gloom, especially rain.

Sourced from the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, a visual tool created by Dutch online travel agent, Tjingo, gives you global rain patterns for trip planning purposes.

Move the slider to different months to see what precipitation data look like in that week of the month. The data is shown in different slides – the first being the global rain patterns and then regional ones. So if you prefer to avoid rain, this allows selection of the ideal time to travel.
