Tripstr – iOS travel app review

May 30, 2014

Tripstr iOS travel app reviewLink: iTunes
Cost: Free

Bang for buck: It’s free!
Ease of use:
The looks:

Everyone loves to blog or journal their travels, and although there are apps and websites to do that, Tripstr lets you add your pictures taken on iOS device and create a story out of it.

You can add captions to pictures and write a journal organized by day or photos. For example, you enter ‘Day 1’, pick photos from your phone (you will have to give access to your photos to the app), select the day of the photos and then create your journal. From the photos selected, you can swipe left for selected-bucket and swipe right to reject.

It’s a great way to take notes of where you have been and what you did on a particular day of your trip. Some of the features we would love to have in Tripstr are: order the selected pictures, add some filtering to them or crop them, add location details (since iOS camera saves where the picture was taken) and have the journal written with text in between the pictures.

Overall, this is a good app to create memories, which can be seen on their website (desktop) too.
