Photo: Indian god idols in sewer, Mumbai, India

December 13, 2012

After an eleven-day religious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi that praises Lord Ganesh, the last day is when the idol of the Lord is immersed in water. This festival occurs sometimes around August-end or September.

In a country that swears by religion and blind faith, the God lays in dilapidated condition in almost sewer like pond.
