Tip: Use clothing iron to heat small amounts of water

November 18, 2012

Most hotel rooms don’t come with a microwave inside the room, and if you need to heat water then you can use most clothing irons as a hotplate. Topologic blog suggests that you can heat water on the flat metal surface, but make sure to secure the iron upside down.

Of course, it will be hazardous and a terrible idea to hold it in your hands, then turn on to heat something.
