With all the social networking sites out there, your friends will recommend restaurants, places to see and must-visit places when you’re off to that next exotic destination. How do you remember all these places? Of course there are notes apps and software like OneNote, Evernote, etc. for your phone and desktops where one can take notes and sync across devices. But you may not realize that you are nearby that place with these apps. That’s where Near2there comes.

Whether you want to remember a restaurant, a tourist site, or a shop, Near2there gives you easy ways to capture these locations on the web or on the go, gives you maps and directions, and, should you forget, alerts you when you are near to a location.

With the smartphone app (iPhone & Android) you can create placemarks for locations nearby or elsewhere, place them on a map to get directions and get alerts when you are near to any of them. These can be synced with your desktop account too.
