Traveling during the holidays can be expensive and a major chunk of your expenses goes in to hotels. If you’re traveling with friends or family then consider renting an entire apartment or house-sit for someone else who’s traveling instead to save money and get more amenities.

There are a lot of rental-home websites out there and going through all of them can be a task. New website Rentmix makes it easy to find available rentals in the area you’re visiting so you can book ahead of time.

Rentmix aggregates listings from AirBnB, HomeAway, FlipKey, and other short-term rental sevices and puts them all on a Google Map so you can see how far away from landmarks each listing is. Just enter the dates of your trip, your budget for a rental, and how many bedrooms you need and the website will do the rest.

For each property you can see the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, type of bed – queen, king, full or twin and the rates – weekly and nightly, and minimum nights. The button at the bottom of the listing will navigate you to the service website the listing was originally found on.
