We had covered the concept of a Yotel back in 2009. And now the London based company is opening their first hotel in Manhattan. The ‘cabins’ come with a complimentary breakfast available from the ‘kitchen’ Galley on each floor, quiet cooling and heating, free WiFi and a workstation. The moving bed comes with luxury sheets and each cabin has a monsoon power shower room with bodywash and towels. The technowall has a TV, music and power services.
The introductory rate starting at $149 (plus tax) is for a “premium cabin” with a queen-sized bed and a bathroom in about 200 sq. foot room.

The hotel is taking reservations for stays starting June 7, and the introductory rate is based on availability. The introductory rate is available online only. Also, the June 7 date is a “soft” or early opening, with a grand opening set for June 13.
